Mrs. Schaab's Class Notes

We enjoyed our field trip last week.  A special thanks to the parents who accompanied us.  We had a superb tour of the Stadium thanks to an usher friend of Mrs. McGinnis. We learned a lot about the Hubble Telescope at the Science Center and the ice cream from Ted Drews was delicious.

This week we will learn about Rome in Social Studies.
In math, we will finish up the chapter on adding and subtracting fractions with a test soon to follow.
In English we are using adjectives and adverbs to compare.
Religion finds us learning about the role of the prophets in the Old Testament.

In 8th grade math we are working with LCM, simple probability and scientific notation.
We will have our final test on Tuesday, May 18th.  Binders will also be collected for the final time.

In 7th grade we are working with fractions in one group and percents in the other.  The group working on percents will have a test on Tuesday.

Our field day is on Wednesday.  We are all looking forward to a great time and are praying for no rain.

We also enjoyed the bagel breakfast following the May Crowning on Friday.

Time is running out but we still have lots to learn before the year ends.
